HOSPITAL WMD CBRNE PROGRAMS

   Hertii.com also provides WMD CBRNE Programs to hospitals and HCFs which can educate and prepare emergency department staffs to deliver and evaluate their own Hospital's Emergency Response Team (HERT) training in responding to terrorist's attacks involving WMD or HMI. There are three Train-the-Trainer programs offered by Hertii.com to various hospital EDs or businesses depending on their anticipated or designated roles in responding to these events. WMD CBRNE programs are:

   Topics in the WMD Certified Instructor Training (CIT) Program will include:

   This program will provide graduates with the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to return to their hospitals or healthcare facilities to design, develop, conduct and evaluate their own hospital or HCF's  emergency preparedness and response training with confidence and effectiveness.

   The program emphasizes ADDIE as an instructional system design and evaluation (ISD&E) process. It also addresses the Competency Base Education and Training (CBET) requirements mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Bioterrorism and Emergency Readiness: Competencies for all Public Health Workers (November, 2002). Graduates will be certified in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of “emergency preparedness and response” training in compliance with the HSPD-8, subject: National Preparedness, dated December 17, 2003, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and other pertinent training Standards.

After successful completion of this program participants will be presented a Certificate of Completion suitable for framing acknowledging their accomplishment. A complete program write up and training agenda can be obtained by contacting us and requesting additional information regarding the WMD CIT Program.

   The WMD CIT program is presented onsite with the intent on training and certifying a regional or statewide hospital emergency response training design, development, conduct and evaluation team.
